Compassionate Care to make you feel at HOME

Respite Services

  Respite Services
Caring for a loved one can impact the well-being of their family caregivers.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that “balance is key” for caregivers who have a long-term obligation to provide some level of care.

Experts caution family caregivers not to try being a “perfect caregiver” that is consumed by caregiving responsibilities. While it may seem like the family caregiver is the only person who can provide the necessary assistance, it can be beneficial to delegate some responsibilities-- either on a regular basis or for time away to recharge.

Here at Kaplan Woods Healthcare we’re here to help. We provide the following respite services or transitional care from injuries medical procedures:

Available as short-term temporary care, our respite caregivers can handle a variety of services while you are away at work, running errands, relaxing, or going out for entertainment. Our compassionate caregivers are trained to handle all in-home respite services, from meal preparation to hygiene assistance, so you can rest assured your loved one is in capable hands.

To ensure our clients’ complete safety, our direct support providers are CPR and first aid-certified and required to maintain clean driving records at all times. In addition, all staff must pass a state of Minnesota background check.

We are licensed as a 245D healthcare provider with both the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
